Do you know that in every family, there are specific gifts that run from generation to generation? This is why a father can be a musician and have one of his children to be a musician too. But in spite of this, there are still some that will have a different talent from what runs in the family. These occurrences in the family can be carefully observed if the parent takes their time to get much closer to their children. The fact that a child can become whatever he wants to become, is only feasible when the child’s choice of career is tied to his talent or gift. This is where the child can be seen to be exceptionally good in his chosen field. While others who happen to be in the same field struggle, the one who appears to be in the right-field achieve good success.

In my family, we have this gift of creativity in writing, drawing, and presentation of public speech. In this area, we are good already. My father saw me constructing a new calendar with good artistic designs done with pencil and watercolor set, even before he thinks of buying the one in the market. I had so much interest in artifacts when I was a child. Yet, he wanted me to be in the sciences, where I can become an engineer, doctor, or scientist. Today, I am a graduate in sciences. Majoring in chemistry. Still, every day I long to be a writer.

The first way to know the future of a child is to discover the child’s interest. What the child likes doing always.

The second way is to figure out those little skill exhibition s done by the child. That skill is naturally shown by the child without him going for a skill acquisition class or having someone to teach him. If he naturally knows how to run very fast and comes first always in his school track and field events, then he most likely might be an athlete. Same with other skills.

Another way to predict a child’s future is to carefully examine his academic result. Taking a look at his performance in the various subjects in his lower educational levels. connecting his academic performance to his skills can give you a clearer picture of where destiny has prepared a place for him in the future. Doing all this will give you the insight to rightly direct the child without any mistake. And the child will grow up to become grateful you did.
